Sixty Launches a New Online Magazine…

Dear friends,

Sixty has been pretty quiet since 2014 began. Maybe you noticed. Either way, we have a lot of new things happening that we’d like to share with you. First and foremost, we have spent much of the past six months reflecting on what we’ve done over the past three years. We have thought about the ways in which we are contributing to the art historical narrative in Chicago, supporting the artists and writers who keep our work exciting and fulfilling, and planting seeds for growth as an organization. From that introspective conversation has emerged a completely new structure of Sixty–one that includes a quarterly online magazine, dialogues, workshops, a new addition to our board, paid opportunities for writers and a new home at the Zhou B Art Center, among other things.

We invite you to check out what we have been up to all this time and if you like what you see and believe in the work we are doing, think of ways to get involved and join us in supporting the artists, writers, curators and brilliant people who keep us busy and committed to contributing to the cultural preservation of and investment in the artists of our city.

Let me be the first to introduce you to the brand new Sixty Inches From Center online magazine and website.

And also, I will never get tired of showing my gratitude for all of the people who have supported our work throughout the years. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
