Natalia Villanueva Linares

Natalia Villanueva Linares is a French + Peruvian Artist graduated with honors in 2010 from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Paris.

Currently living in Chicago, working between South/North America and Europe, Natalia’s work has been shown in two major exhibitions at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Paris, galleries and art fairs in Peru, France, Germany, the United States, Italy, Spain and recently Ecuador. Natalia is a multidisciplinary moment maker, with high expertise in installation and performative art practices. She is developing a long-term nomadic series of performances named: “SOULUTIONS, The library of gestures”. Through these experiences, gathering large amounts of participants, the project is meant to heal distance, bring a sense of togetherness and celebrate uniqueness.

Natalia is the co-founder and Director of the non-profit organization Yaku, she is the director of High Place, an alternative Art space, a mini mansion located in a historic neighborhood of Peoria, Illinois. She is also is the founder of the magazine Ukayzine, created to promote international cultural exchanges through the visual Arts.
