Artist Wadsworth Jarrell’s piece, Prophecy, painted in psychedelic colors and patterns, features five black men and women. Three of the figures are centered as a trio and framed by the two other figures. Interspersed throughout the piece are instances of African diasporic iconography in that same psychedelic style.
