Nadia John (they/them) is a poet, interdisciplinary artist, aspiring curator and social justice advocate, whose theoretical interests include narratology, psycholinguistics, cognitive metaphor theory and affect theory, and whose research interests include various experimental art movements, forms and their histories. They love to consider experimental art’s relationship to emancipatory politics and poetics. They published their first chapbook, She’s a very rare gal, with GaussPDF in 2015, and their most recent book, Long Form, is forthcoming with Hiding Press in spring 2021. They are currently a member of the social justice cooperative, Doveland, and exhibition assistant for Circle Contemporary both located in Chicago.
