We invite you to take binge watching from your couch to a Chicago rooftop. As part of Sixty Offline, we’ve asked some friends to share the series and videos they’ve been watching on the web and join us as we binge watch a selection of their recent releases–showing particular love to Chicago productions and ones that tell stories by and about those of us who are women, queer, and of color.
To kick it off, we’ve asked Sam Bailey (You’re So Talented) to share some favorites and join us as we watch a few of her productions. So, bring a blanket or a lawn chair. Sneak in some candy. We’ll provide the popcorn and there will be a donation bar.
Next time we will Binge on…Indie TV with Aymar Jean Christian on August 13 (RSVP here), same time, same place.
If you can’t make it, you can still show support. Donate to the GoFundMe campaign of Brown Girls, the next series by Sam Bailey to start production next month.
